The Sock exchange and Christmas Gifts!

Thank you to everyone who has been sending me lots of prayers and sweet comments about my Nanny! I appreciate them so much! I realized last night that the last few posts I have done have been kinda sad....so I wanted to do a little bit of a happier post this time!

I am super excited that I am just about done all my Christmas shopping for this year! I have to admit that I kinda went overboard this year, but since I landed an awesome job back in the beginning of November, we definitely had the extra money to splurge a little bit this year.

Out of all the things I got for different family members and friends; I am especially excited to give my BFF Kristina this little bracelet from Etsy:

Isn't it beautiful?? I hope she loves it and that every time she wears it, that it reminds her of her 3 angels in heaven! In case you are interested in something similar, the shop that I bought this from off of Etsy is called: Buy Some Love. I hope all of you guys are having fun shopping and getting ready for Christmas too!

I also wanted to share a picture of my socks from Risa's sock exchange! I was paired up with Heidi from Hidden Infertility. She is such a sweetheart! I absolutely LOVE the socks she sent to me! They are so soft and comfy! She also included the sweetest note that just put a smile on my face, and it made my day so much better! If you have never visited her blog, I encourage you to head on over and check it out! Unfortunately, over the summer she had 2 losses :( . One after a successful IUI, and then another one just a few months later after a surprise BFP. Please join me in praying that Heidi gets her sticky BFP soon!

Here are the most comfy socks in the world right as I'm getting ready to go to sleep! (Please excuse the pile of dirty clothes in the upper right hand corner of this pic..oops!)

  3. Love the socks!! Glad you are enjoying the preparations for this holiday season. I confess it's been hard to reign it in with presents for our little Levi this year but I think we found a balance. By that I mean. I shopped ad hubby said, "ok great, now no more"
(Thanks for stopping by my blog. Our daughter is due in mid February so our babies will b 18 months and a week apart! We will be busy :) )

    1. Thanks! Lol, your husband sounds just like mine! Wow, what a coincidence - my daughter, Jackie, was born in mid-February 2012, and my son, Levi, was born in the beginning of August 2013! So they are just about 18 months apart as well. It's so crazy how we have a son with the same name, and our kids share the same birth month!

Yes, you will be busy! But, I don't know if this is happening to you, but it happened to me a LOT. Friends and family used to make the most negative comments to me about having 2 kids so close in age. Basically, they would say stuff like...wow! They are gonna be 18 months apart! You're life is gonna really suck from here on out! Their comments used to really drive me nuts! I just wanna let you know though, that yes, having 2 kids so young and close in age, is really hard work, but i wouldn't have it any other way. It's so much fun watching them both grow and learn, and I love how they are growing up together!
Thanks for stopping by! I can't wait to see pics of your new little blessing in February! I will be praying for you during these last few months of pregnancy!
